Garden & Landscape Design

Richard Riddell Garden & Landscape Design is a small design practice passionate about creating spaces that are beautiful, unique and tailored to the requirements of the client and location. 

Working from initial analysis and consultancy through to finalised master planning, design detailing and project management. We pride ourselves on delivering design services of the highest standard, whether construction drawings to ensure build quality or illustrations to show a clear vision of the finished proposal. We work on a wide range of design projects from commercial landscapes and developments through to private gardens of all sizes.

Our designs draw inspiration from surrounding environments, existing architecture and the aspirations for the space. We look to create balanced designs that forge links between the house and garden and to the wider landscape. Gardens and Landscapes that belong & develop into spaces that are personal, relevant and to be enjoyed.

As well as our own projects we are always pleased to collaborate with other designers and studios to assist with detailled drawings, high quality models and visuals.

Richard Riddell retrained in garden design at Duchy College Rosewarne & Eden Project Learning in 2013, after several years working within construction. This was a fantastic experience in an inspirational setting. As well as top landscape design student, went on to recieve the Society of Garden Designers Student of the year award 2016.

Coinciding with studies and since, he has had the pleasure of working with amazing designers, architects, landscapers, suppliers, craftsmen, fabricators, gardeners and many other specialists on some incredible projects of all scales.
